Do the lenses come in an AR coating?
Yes. All twelve84 lenses have an AR coating. The Inspire package uses a top-level AR coating that is multi-phobic. It is very easy to clean. The Discover Single Vision uses a very good pre-coated AR stock lens, while the Discover Progressive is a digital lens that has a very good AR coating application
Is there free shipping available?
Yes. Optical-X pays for all shipping expenses. If a return request needs to be processed, Optical-X will send a pre-paid shipping label to cover the cost of the return
Is there a warranty available?
All Discover Packages are covered by a 1 year warranty on frame and lenses, Frame Only orders are covered by a 1 year warranty, and Inspire Packages are covered by a 2 year warranty on frame and lenses. Warranties will be provided at no charge.
How does the billing work?
$179/month membership fee will be charged on the 1st of each month. This covers full delivery of the Twelve84 eyewear service. On the 20th of the month, there will be an automatic withdrawal of payment in full for the product(s) sold in the previous month.
What is included in the twelve84 kit?
The product kit includes 80 curated pieces from our 120 piece collection. Also included is a POP plaque, an eyeglass case, and box to use to display the brand to your patients.
What is the process to set up twelve84 in RevolutionEHR?
Once you acknowledge receipt of your kit, the full catalog of 120 frames and package offerings will auto-populate within RevolutionEHR. You will be ready to order in a matter of minutes!
What is the quality of the frames?
Optical-X has customized every frame offered in the twelve84 collection. The line was fully designed in the USA with top-line materials from around the world. For example, many of the frames use spring hinges from Comotec in France. The beta titanium material is imported from Japan and we use Italian Mazzucchelli acetate for multiple pieces.
Is is required to display all 120 frames?
No. You can merchandise the product however you see fit.
Who manufactures the lense?
twelve84 lenses are Optical-X approved and made by a 5-star certified independent lab. The lenses have been tested by COLTS independent testing laboratory to ensure their excellence in quality that meet or exceed ANSI standards.
What if there is an issue with the order?
Customer Support at Optical-X is your point of contact for any issues. We handle all inquiries, questions and issues with twelve84. Optical-X ensures there is no hassle with contacting the lab or working through any issues since we manage all of that on your behalf.
Does twelve84 work with vision plans?
No. twelve84 is priced to be extremely affordable for cash-paying patients and to provide an option for patients to use their VCP benefits on contact lenses who desire an affordable pair of glasses. The average profit for the practice meets or exceeds the average profit from VCP transactions.
Can the frames just be purchased?
Yes, frames can be drop shipped to your location of choice. Submit your request for individual frames to support@twelve84.com.
Can the twelve84 patient prices be changed?
No. The patient prices are fixed and cannot be changed. However, you can apply a discount on any order. Optical-X has made it easy for your practice to capture your patients with attractive pricing and a simple model for you to compete.
Are practice employees able to get a discount from twelve84?
All twelve84 packages ordered for staff will be given a 50% discount off the cost of good.
What is the cancellation policy?
There is no penalty for canceling the service and there is no contract.
Why does it show $50 discount on retail price?
RevolutionEHR has the higher price as a default. We recommend discounting your Inspire package in RevolutionEHR to upsell from the Discover package for optimal overall profit.
